Staying at Trailbase lodge is a unique experience. Situated at 1600m elevation and within the boundaries of the Natural Park it’s a true mountain environment, with breathtaking vistas and abundant wildlife straight out the door.

 

If you like all mod cons with shops and bars on the doorstep then this is not for you. This is a place to get away from it all. No phone, internet, or satellite tv, just the great outdoors. An authentic wilderness retreat.
 

This is real mountain life. Rough 4 wheel drive tracks, bumpy, dusty, exposed, sublime mountain weather, endless blue skies, storms, hot, cold, snow blocked tracks, alpine forests, snow capped peaks, sun baked valleys, star studded skies, all the elements needed for a memorable mountain experience and a bit of adventure.
